Greatly enhanced and expanded to four volumes. This new version shows how to tie a fully dressed, married wing fly - the Jock Scott - from start to finish and also a full-feather wing fly - the Stevenson - also from start to finish. The Jock Scott fly takes up two volumes as before and the Stevenson takes up one volume. The fourth volume is a compilation of 14 important tying techniques for all salmon fly tyers. Most importantly, this new four-volume set is now in High-Definition! 6 hrs & 21 min.

More Information:
DVD provides in clear detail exactly how a complex pattern is tied, step by step. Each component of the fly is indexed on the DVD, in the order in which they are tied. Every step includes the necessary material preparation such as: splitting floss for tags; selecting tails; folding body hackles; or determining the correct position for the joints on a multi-jointed body, etc. The index also allows the user to review a single step as many times as necessary to understand, and master the technique. We found that to be especially helpful in building a tapered underbody, which for some of us has always been somewhat perplexing. Mike's instructions are clear and straightforward, and the photography and production quality are brilliant. This is a very well produced private salmon fly tying clinic with the man that Marvin Nolte has referred to as "the finest salmon fly tyer I know," and that is strong praise indeed.
