Do I need to register for this event?
You only need to register if you intend on selling. You do not need to register to attend this event as a buyer.
To register for a table please click here and purchase your table.

Will Avid Angler be selling gear?
No, Avid Angler will not be selling used gear. The store will be open during the event, but this event is for the community to sell gear to each other and help clear out that basement!

What can I sell?
First of all, gear should function and be in decent condition. No broken rods or reels that don’t spin. Other than that, expect to see fly fishing rods, reels, personal float tubes and pontoon boats, flies, vintage tackle, packs and bags.

What can I not sell?
Personal safety equipment (life vests, throw bags, helmets), knives, guns, bear spray. Please use your judgement here, but The Avid Angler can ask you not to sell certain items it deems unsafe.

How can I pay for items?
All transactions are cash only, unless a buyer has a way to transmit money to the seller (Venmo, etc.)

Have something that didn’t sell or want to donate?
Take them home, as we will not be selling items, or donate them. We will make sure they go to a place they will be appreciated and used! On this event we are partnering with The Mayfly Project. From the TMP website - their “mission is to build relationships with children in foster care through fly fishing and introduce them to their local water ecosystems, with a hope that connecting them to a rewarding hobby will provide an opportunity for foster children to have fun, feel supported, and develop a meaningful connection with the outdoors.”
