Arctic Fox hair has become one of the most popular materials for use in Steelhead flies especially Intruder type flies. Spin some up in a composite loop and try on favorite steelhead fly soon. Also give this beautiful material in your favorite bonefish fly in place of such materials as craft fur.
Arctic fox body hair is a great wing and composite loop hair. It is dense with thick under fur and mid size guard hair. Not as longs tail hair, but perfect for smaller flies.
